Our high volume law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our team! You will be in office and will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive firm success. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Responsibilities:
- Type, prepare and format correspondences and other documents
- Calendar deadlines and hearings
- Answer and make telephone calls
- Maintain and administer organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in office administration or other related fields preferred but not required
- Ability to prioritize and multitask and handle high volume work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and grammar
- Strong organizational skills
