Position: Concierge/Valet (Part-Time Position Available)

Schedule: 8am-2pm (Every Sunday) & 2pm-8pm (Every other Saturday)

Pay: $15.75 - $17.75

Primary Responsibilities

Blakehurst is seeking Part-Time Concierge/Valet to become an integral part of our team! We cater to those who prefer the more exquisite side of life. After all the years of hard work they have put in, they deserve it. Your main focus is to take orders from our lovely residents and serve them promptly like you would at an upscale restaurant. That's right, we serve our residents with a smile. Care to learn more? Have a look at the specific job requirements listed below:

• Opens and close the concierge desk and properly secure all files, keys and equipment in the office area.
• Responsible for answering and transferring all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, giving information, direction and other appropriate assistance to residents, staff, guests & vendors and performing a variety of other clerical duties as assigned.
• Assists residents and guests arriving and departing from the Community.
• Assists security, housekeeping, and other departments as requested.
• Delivers packages, flowers, prescriptions, etc., to residents’ apartments and other departments.
• Effectively exhibiting the Hospitality Promises, which is the blueprint for “The Blakehurst Way.”
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively, handle a multitude of tasks at one time, and provide a customer service attitude at all times.
• Typing and experience with computers and other business machines required.
• Ability to move 25 - 40 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
