Inventory/Shipping & Receiving Associate

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our organization and support both Nor'East Controls and Blake Thermal in their combined space in Portland, Maine. Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Shipping and receiving of product, in a common warehouse, in support of both Nor'East Controls and Blake Thermal Sales & Service, Inc.
- Packing and processing for outgoing raw materials and finished goods.
- Receiving inbound product for manufacturing as well as processing returns.
- Ensure all incoming product is placed and stored in the proper warehouse location.
- Processing of all shipping and receiving paperwork, and notifying appropriate parties when job specific product arrives.
- Organizing and maintaining a clean, well-organized warehouse.
- Construction of pallets, as needed.
Additional Information:
- All necessary tools and safety equipment will be provided.
- Use of a fork lift will be required and training provided, if required.
- Our goal is to repurpose shipping materials to minimize environmental impact. Foam packer and paper are the 2 main packaging methods.
- Training to be provided, as needed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 2 years' experience with shipping and receiving, preferred.
- Ability to accurately and effectively operate a computer.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and remain effective in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work well with a team towards a common goal.
- VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED.
