Job Descriptions: Swim Instructor
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Salary: $26.00-$46.00 / hour DOE
About us and benefits:
Blake Swim School is a fast growing INDOOR swim school in Hacienda Heights. We are teaching kids ranging from 3 to 12 yrs old. Work schedule is flexible, we know you might have outside commitments such as school or another job. Fun work environment with lots of laughter and high-fives. You don't need to be a competitive swimmer, just be someone who loves the water. We provide training and TRAINING IS PAID!!
Responsibilities/Primary Responsibilities:
1. Provide safe and competent instruction using recognized lead-up skills as established by our profession and nation aquatic agencies
2. Plan and effectively organize class time for maximum practice. This is accomplished through weekly lesson plans.
3. Teach with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
4. Provide for consistency in instruction by working each assigned period.
Requirements:
1. WSI
2. Lifeguarding issued by American Red Cross
3. Must be age 16

3. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
4. Experience in public facility management
5. Strong problem-solving skills
