Additionally, this role will serve as a safety and security champion across Blake’s family of companies, helping promote a safe, secure, and compliant working environment.
Grounds Upkeep & Farm Beautification

Blake’s is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Grounds Manager to support day-to-day operations with a primary focus on grounds beautification and flexible farm operations support. This role will be instrumental in managing labor efficiency and maintaining high standards for customer-facing areas. Additionally, this role will serve as a safety and security champion across Blake’s family of companies, helping promote a safe, secure, and compliant working environment.
Grounds Upkeep & Farm Beautification
- Ensure all customer-facing areas—including lawns, orchards, fields, pathways, and event zones—are maintained to a “show-ready” standard at all times.
- Lead, schedule, and optimize groundskeeping and beautification crews for maximum efficiency and minimal cost.
- Implement proactive maintenance routines for lawn care, landscaping, and public spaces, with a focus on seasonal needs and event readiness.
- Ensure Daily Walkthrough is complete, and Daily log has been completed
- Act as the safety and security lead for the farm team and broader Blake’s family of companies.
- Support, reinforce, and help implement company-wide safety initiatives, including trainings, inspections, and emergency preparedness.
- Promote best practices in equipment operation, facility access, and property security.
- Monitor and respond to safety or security concerns across all farm-related properties.
- Familiarity with farm equipment
- Experience managing crews and scheduling labor efficiently
- Working knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscaping standards
- Familiarity with workplace safety programs and OSHA guidelines
- Ability to track and analyze costs and make data-driven decisions
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate agricultural machinery safely
- CDL and/or pesticide application license is a plus
- Some Weekend work will be required
