We are seeking a motivated, driven Entry-Level Outside Sales Associate to support our sales efforts in the compressed air industry. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in industrial sales by learning technical products, developing customer relationships, and growing a defined sales territory. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within assigned territory
- Prospect for new business through cold calls, referrals, jobsite visits, and networking
- Learn and sell compressed air equipment, parts, service, and solutions
- Conduct on-site customer visits to assess needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow-up communications
- Coordinate with inside sales, service, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information in CRM system
- Attend product training, manufacturer training, and sales meetings as required
- Support promotional activities, trade shows, and customer events
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and activity targets
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Zero to Two (0–2) years of sales, customer service, or related experience
- Interest in industrial, mechanical, or technical products (compressed air experience a plus, not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a sales career
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned territory
- Mechanical aptitude or technical curiosity
- Comfortable speaking with decision-makers and shop personnel
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
