Position: Title Administrator

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Clerk to join our team in Clyde, Texas. This individual will play a vital role in ensuring all vehicle sales and purchases are properly documented and processed in accordance with state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vehicle title registrations for all purchases and sales.
• Verify costs and submit accurate vehicle information to the accounting department and the DMV.
• Ensure all payoffs are handled correctly and titles are received in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date on all title regulations, requirements, and associated fees.
• Prepare accurate tax and title documentation based on state-specific guidelines.
• Submit all legal documents to the DMV within the required time frames.
• Verify receipt of funds and ensure proper lienholder payment before processing title applications.
• Audit title applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure all payoff checks are accurate and follow up on titles due to the dealership.
• Floor all in-stock vehicles upon receipt of titles.
• Maintain a system to track out-of-state titles.
• Compile and manage a comprehensive log of all outstanding title work.

Qualifications:

• Previous accounting experience is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with title regulations and DMV processes is a plus.
