What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic Assistant position at Blake Drilling Company?
Blake Drilling Company is seeking a mechanic assistant to help assist our growing business at our Columbus location. The selected person will have the opportunity to work within a team as well as individually.
Duties:
· Assist with routine services such as changing oil, replacing filters, and lubricating parts
· Power wash equipment as needed
· Operate equipment to move pumps around the yard
· Cleaning and degreasing parts, sweeping work areas, and organizing tools
· Company supplies tools and toolboxes. No personal tools required
Skills:
· Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
· Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
· Ability to understand and follow safety procedures
· Ability to work within a team as well as individually
· Ability to pass random drug testing
Equipment Operation Requirements:
· Valid class D driver’s license with no prior violations. Class A would be desired but not necessary

Pay: $25.81 - $31.08 per hour
