Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing beautiful outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping and horticultural tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a range of tools and machinery, and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of diverse landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape installation and maintenance including planting, pruning, mowing, and edging to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal.
- Operate hand tools, power tools to complete landscaping projects efficiently and safely.
- Conduct lawn care activities such as aeration, fertilization, weed control.
- Maintain hardscape features like patios, walkways and outdoor kitchen.
- Provide tree care services including trimming, pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and tree vitality.
- Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering schedules for diverse plantings.
- Support garden design projects by applying horticultural knowledge to select suitable plants and implement landscape plans.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or related outdoor maintenance roles.
- Mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, and equipment like riding lawn mower is essential.
- Strong understanding of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance procedures, and horticulture principles.
- Ability to operate equipment safely including riding lawn mower and irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and health assessment.
- Collect and dispose of leaves, dirt, rubbish.
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
