We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to fill a vacancy left by a retiring hygienist who has been with us for over 20 years!! We are sad to see her go, but excited for her to enjoy time with her family!! The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient care and assist in various procedures while promoting oral health.Responsibilities:Perform dental hygiene services and procedures under the supervision of a licensed dentistConduct oral health assessments, including taking patient histories and charting conditionsEducate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative instructionsAdminister local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as neededTake and develop dental radiographsApply fluoride treatments and sealantsMaintain accurate patient recordsQualifications:Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of IdahoProficiency in using dental software programsKnowledge of medical terminology, dental coding, and HIPAA regulationsFamiliarity with dental office procedures and infection control protocolsThis part time position offer competitive pay, some benefits, and opportunities for growth.
