What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Custodian position at Blair Senior Services, Inc.?
Blair Senior Services, Inc., a non-profit Area Agency on Aging, is seeking a dependable and hardworking Overnight Custodian to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our employees and guests. This role will require independent work during the overnight hours and requires strong attention to detail. The successful candidate must be willing to travel throughout the county to maintain five Agency owned facilities. A company vehicle will be available for driving between locations.
The Overnight Custodian will complete general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and trash removal. Cleaning/sanitizing restrooms and replenishing supplies is also required.
Qualified applicants must be 21 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent with prior custodial/janitorial experience preferred. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. A current valid PA driver’s license, proven safe driving record, and the ability to live up to 25 lbs. while performing repetitive physical tasks is also required.
The starting hourly wage is $14.48. Excellent benefit package includes paid time off and an Agency sponsored retirement plan.
