What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistance Transportation Case Manager position at Blair Senior Services, Inc.?
Blair Senior Services, Inc., a non-profit Area Agency on Aging, is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time case management position located in Hollidaysburg.
This position will serve as a point of contact for coordinating medical transportation services to eligible consumers. Duties include client intake, verification of eligibility, file maintenance, processing reimbursement requests, service coordination and programmatic reporting. The successful candidate should be helpful, supportive, have attention to detail and the ability to make decisions based on established guidelines and procedures.
Qualified applicants must have bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least one year of relevant experience. In addition, applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced computer skills, and genuine empathy and respect for the individuals and families seeking assistance. The starting hourly wage will be $17.36.
