JOB SUMMARY The role will be responsible for inspecting, testing, repairing, installing, and modifying electrical components and systems for the IKO Seville (Blair Rubber) production facility. The role must also help ensure the safety of themselves and others by observing all local, state, and national electrical codes. Hourly rate of $28.05 an hour Competitive health, dental and insurance plans Competitive matched retirement savings program The opportunity to join a continuously growing organization with focus on diversity and inclusion The opportunity to work with an industry leader in manufacturing WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE: Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, distribution and control equipment at the plant Working with computers, line drive and PLCs and other technical schematics Organizing work area, tools and parts Managing assigned work orders while complying with all safety rules, including lock, tag, and verify Working in a team setting with other maintenance personnel Working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced working environment Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: Able to provide certificate/card of Journeyman status Minimum of five years maintenance experience in a plant setting or associates degree in Industrial Electrical Maintenance Knowledge of Allen Bradley Drives, Relay Logic, PLCs and programming Proficient in diagnosing and testing motors and motor control circuits Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters Must be able to work with computer-based maintenance software Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills Benefits of Employment: Blair Rubber Company recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
