Responsibilities
- Safely operate step-van trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver packages to residential and business addresses across assigned routes
- Load, secure, and organize packages within the vehicle for optimal delivery efficiency
- Navigate route driving efficiently using GPS technology and adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring delivery accuracy
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports throughout each shift
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving shipments, and preparing packages for delivery when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role with a strong focus on route driving and customer service
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of packages safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
