Duties

• Constantly observe pool areas to identify potential hazards or unsafe behaviors
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including performing first aid and CPR when necessary
• Enforce pool rules to ensure guest safety and promote respectful behavior
• Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and checking chemical levels
• Assist guests with pool-related inquiries and provide excellent guest services to enhance their experience
• Perform regular inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Support with basic pool maintenance duties like water testing and minor repairs as needed

Experience

• Prior lifeguard experience is preferred but not required.
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is essential
• Experience with pool cleaning, chemical testing, or general pool maintenance is a plus
• Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues in various situations
• Willingness to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks related to pool upkeep
• Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
