Blair Engineering is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to support machining and fabrication operations at our San Luis Obispo facility.
This is a hands-on role working directly with machinists, programmers, welders, inspectors, and other shop personnel to coordinate workflow, support production, and maintain quality standards.
We build high-speed turbomachinery and other specialized industrial equipment. This is not a high-volume production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate shop workflow and production scheduling
- Support machining, fabrication, inspection, and outside processing
- Help maintain quality, safety, and equipment readiness
- Lead and support shop personnel in a hands-on manufacturing environment

- Strong background in machining or manufacturing operations
- Supervisory or management experience in a shop environment
- Organized, steady, practical leadership style
- Ability to work on-site in San Luis Obispo, CA
