What are the responsibilities and job description for the SUD Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) - PCB Certification Required position at Blair County Drug and Alcohol Program Inc.?
Blair Drug and Alcohol Partnerships is looking for one full-time Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) . This position will be tasked with engaging individuals with substance use disorder, as well as providing recovery supports services to include, but not limited too: resource coordination, assistance with treatment placement, diminishing barriers that impede recovery success, advocacy for the individual’s recovery needs, and referral to other peer support services as identified. This position calls for the sharing of one’s lived experience and requires a minimum of two years within the recovery process as well as active certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board prior to hire. Strong recovery-related knowledge needed.
A valid driver license and vehicle is required.
