What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist position at Blaine Family Chiropractic?
Blaine Family Chiropractic is searching to add to our team of energetic, motivated, and passionate health leaders. We are searching for someone who shares a passion for health and helping their community. The receptionist position will include front office tasks as well assistance to the Chiropractors and Therapists.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
Handling incoming calls and other communications.
Managing filing system.
Recording information as needed.
Greeting clients and visitors with an upbeat personality
Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
Creating a positive environment for clients
Coordinating events as necessary.
Assisting team members
Maintaining office equipment as needed.
Aiding with client reception as needed.
Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
Qualifications
- Medical administrative support experience
- Proficiency in EHR systems such as Epic and Meditech
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of medical terminology and CPT coding
- Experience with patient service and front desk operations
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems and clerical tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
