We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with our main location in Blaine, MN and have an opening for a Trailer Technician for our Mobile Service Trucks. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, detail oriented, willing to jump in and help out where needed, and a strong work ethic. This position handles the complete repair and general maintenance of semi-trailers, as well as, all other styles and sizes of trailers.

SCHEDULE:
3rd Shift Monday-Friday 10pm-6am (10% shift differential applies)
BENEFITS:

WAGE: $27- $38/hr (varies based on skillset and experience)
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
- Perform repair and customization work as assigned including routine maintenance, brake replacement/repair, suspension repair, electrical and pneumatic and hydraulic component troubleshooting and repair, trailer body repair including complete trailer rebuild.
- Provide after-sale services, such as component installation
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
- Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

- Great work ethic

- Technical aptitude with basic electric diagnostic / troubleshooting experience a plus
- Welding experience a plus
- Basic tool set and tool box to start (assistance programs available)
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. occasionally and 10-50 lbs. frequently
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliability and a dedication to be a hard worker
- Ability to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly work environment
