Title: Customer Success & Quality Control Specialist

Pay: $18 per hour
Job Summary
The Customer Success and Quality Control Specialist (CS/QC) will work in a structured environment where there is great culture and sense of fulfillment. The primary focus of the job will involve responding to customer inquiries by email, processing returns and exchanges, and shipping customer orders daily. Additionally, the CS/QC will be trained on quality control tasks including visually checking incoming shipments for damage; ensuring packing lists correspond with the appropriate invoice; using inspection tools (micrometers, calipers and indicators) to physically inspect the incoming product; and packaging individual products to be placed in inventory.
Tasks
- Respond to customer inquiries by email
- Process returns and exchanges
- Ship customer orders daily
- Inspect product using standard inspection tools i.e., calipers, micrometers, and indicators
- Maintain quality standards and log any issues
- Package and label products
Skills
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite programs
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Positive attitude, dependable
- Ability to learn quickly with verbal and written instructions
- Take direction and work independently
- Must be able to inspect items visually up close
- Must be comfortable handling sharp tools
- Ability to measure parts using micrometers, calipers and indicators
- Recognize product deviation from specification and inspection sheet
Physical Demands
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Use knife to cut packing tape to open boxes
- Stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Safe handling of knives and other sharp-edged tools
- Use a computer for extended periods of time
Work Environment
- Warehouse environment
- Handling sharp edged knives and tools
- Some exposure to mild chemicals used to clean product
- Occasional loud noise, frequent background noise
- Overtime may be required occasionally based on business need
Education and Experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous Customer Service or Quality Control Experience preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Full time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
- Day shift (start times may vary). Monday -Friday
- 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

- Help in other areas when necessary
