What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Servicing Operations position at Blackwood Associates LLC?
We are partnering closely with a top-tier financial services firm who is looking to add elite talent to their Asset Servicing and Corporate Actions team. The successful candidate should be a self-starter who naturally looks for improvement opportunities, has financial operations experience, proven ability to multi-task and prioritize while demonstrating his/her intellectual curiosity. This person will also be responsible for processing mandatory and voluntary corporate action events, while managing key PB relationships and have an opportunity to take on a senior leadership role as the business evolves.
- Collaborating with third-party admin groups to suggest and improve technology, processes, and controls.
- Project managing and driving firm initiatives of varying size and scope, requiring a high degree of interaction with Technology and business.
- Partnering with multiple stakeholders to understand upcoming business initiatives, analyzing associated impacts to create business specifications for technology and implementation of resulting changes.
- Being involved in private corporate action deals, proxy voting, and class action litigation filing.
- Create and support monthly metrics and trend analysis to senior management.
At least 5 years of corporate actions/asset servicing experience necessary, preferably cross product.
