Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or by hand
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen and dining areas by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, sinks, and storage spaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic ingredient handling or setup for service when needed
- Help with catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is spotless and ready for use
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely dish turnaround during busy service periods
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required—training will be provided!
- Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food safety standards is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or food prep tools is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food handling, catering support, and hospitality operations
- MUST be able to lift 50-70 pounds.
