Assistant High School Girls Basketball Coach
School Year: 2025-2026
Essential duties of this position include the following:
- Follows and maintains knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
- Follows and maintains knowledge of South Carolina High School League policies and procedures,
including all paperwork needed for eligibility. - Instructs and demonstrates skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement.
- Develops appropriate training programs and practice schedules.
- Schedules non-region games and transportation for away games.
- Ensures that all basketball equipment and uniforms are properly stored and maintained.
- Ensures that all basketball players maintain a clean and orderly locker room.
- Enforces discipline policies and emphasizes sportsmanship.
- Maintains a safe environment for student athletes at all times.
- Interacts thoughtfully and courteously with students, staff, parents, fellow coaches, and officials and resolves conflict in a professional manner.
- Communicates effectively with Athletic Director and Principal.
- Performs other coaching related duties as assigned or designated by the Athletic Director or
