Production Operator (3rd shift)

Specific job-related tasks include:ResponsibilitiesOperate standard 3D printing & process equipment for printed die fabricationOperate CT scan inspection equipmentInspect highly intricate and delicate ceramic and polymer parts for defects (visual and feature), recording the defects into an MES system for high data integrityPerform ceramic core and inspection processes in accordance with AS9100 requirementsRead, comprehend, and follow work instructions and procedures with an emphasis on qualityWork to production schedules in support of fulfilling demandAbility to quickly adjust priorities on a daily basis to support changes in production needs/plans.Work directly and cooperatively with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure emphasis on qualityIdentify, recommend, and implement process improvementsMaintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulationsPerform all other duties assigned by supervisor or managerQUALIFICATIONSHigh school, GED, or Associate degree; experience in production environments preferredAttention to detailFlexibility regarding schedule for potential staggered shifts and OT to meet production demandAffinity for a fast-paced environment with changing directives and moderate levels of ambiguityAbility to engage closely with engineers to communicate daily production needs and to understand non-standard routing and instructions pertaining to engineering experiments.Written and spoken fluency in English requiredPREFERRED EXPERIENCEExperience with hazardous materials and 3D printingExperience with quality inspectionExperience with Oracle and/or other ERP systemPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSUse of hands to handle, feel and reachAbility to handle, adjust and transport fragile manufactured partsRegular movement across a ~6,000 sf production floorAbility to lift 50lbs with 2 handsAbility to stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawlDemonstration of good sight and hearingCompany DescriptionBlackTree Technical Group is a full-service staffing and recruitment firm.
