2pm-10:30pm plus 5-10 hours a week of OT!!!!!Position SummaryThe Warehouse Technician plays a critical role within the Robotics Test Operations team. This position provides essential logistical and technical support needed to prepare, execute, and maintain robotics testing environments. The technician is responsible for efficient material flow, accurate configuration of testbeds, and organized inventory management to support rigorous robotics development and validation. This role requires strong independence and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling & LogisticsExecute handling and movement of boxes in loading and unloading test environments.Stage test materials, products, and components as needed.Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) for loading, unloading, and staging.Maintain organized storage areas to support efficiency and dynamic test schedules.Testbed Configuration & Technical SupportSet up robotics test equipment including conveyors, safety fencing, and pallets according to specifications.Assist technicians and engineers with installation of large equipment and specialized tasks.Operational CoordinationCoordinate directly with external vendors to obtain supplies and services.Initiate and submit purchase requisitions.Inventory & Facility ManagementMaintain a clean and organized test environment.Assist with basic inventory tracking and documentation of test components and supplies.Perform work independently with minimal supervision.Maintenance & RepairConduct basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and conveyor systems.Required QualificationsStrong communication and collaboration skills.Excellent customer service and organizational abilities.High attention to detail and strong self-motivation.Experience using hand and power tools.Demonstrated ability to work with external vendors and submit purchase requisitions.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.Ability to safely and effectively use common hand and power tools.High school diploma or equivalent.Preferred QualificationsExperience in labor-intensive fields such as moving, rigging, maintenance, or tree-work.Company DescriptionBlackTree Technical Group is a full-service staffing and recruitment firm.
