What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Technician position at BlackTree Technical Group, Inc.?
Day to day activities:
- Assemble robotic parts and subassemblies using tools and fixtures
- Follow step-by-step work instructions and safety procedures
- Perform visual checks and basic tests to confirm product quality
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace
- Assist engineers and senior technicians with troubleshooting or rework
- Support process improvements and team production goals
Required Skills:
- Previous experience following technician instructions by interpreting engineering blueprints and technical terms
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production
- Experience assembling, repairing, reworking, and/or testing electromechanical assemblies Experience troubleshooting electromechanical assemblies and recommending courses of action Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted
