Key Responsibilities: Building, integration and testing of precision fixtures and tooling for customer applicationsBuilding, integration and testing of complex electromechanical subsystems and final assembliesWiring and power up of production machines, Safety PLC verification and testingImaging & building of PCsSupporting manufacturing and field teams with troubleshooting, debug operations, and sustaining engineering of existing productsWorks closely with engineering on development of procedures and New Product Integration into the manufacturing lineUtilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and componentsCollaborate with electrical engineers or other personnel to identify, define, or solve development problemsTraining/Mentoring of newer technicians Requirements: ·         7 plus years manufacturing experience with machine assembly, wiring, and testAble to read blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical orders (ECO’s) to determine methods and sequence of assembly operationsStrong precision soldering experience (certification preferred)Able to complete complex assemblies and ensure proper interaction of componentsSolid electrical background /can troubleshoot complex wiring and electrical assembliesAbility to perform testing and troubleshooting in a variety of engineering tasksProficient use of measuring instruments such as digital multi-meters, micrometers, calipers, and height gaugesAbility to use hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and test equipmentAbility to demonstrate physical dexterity, ability to bend and to lift (< 50lbs.)Company DescriptionBlackTree Technical Group is a full-service staffing and recruitment firm.
