Blackstone is seeking an accomplished and dynamic marketing leader to join the Global Advertising team as Global Advertising Campaign Strategy, Senior Vice President. Reporting to the Global Head of Digital Strategy & Insights, this role supports the orchestration of integrated advertising campaigns across Blackstone’s priority audiences and regions, serving as a senior strategic lead across agency partners and internal stakeholders to ensure work is cohesive, brand-aligned, operationally disciplined, and impactful.
This individual will direct the end-to-end campaign creative development process from insight to idea to production across omni-channel campaigns spanning digital, social, video, print, and emerging formats. The role requires strong executive judgment, rigorous budget and scope oversight, and lead agencies of record and production partners across markets including the U.S. and Japan, while maintaining tight integration with media, design, digital, content, technology, public affairs, legal, compliance, and regional marketing teams.
The successful candidate brings a highly strategic, insights-driven, and entrepreneurial approach to advertising leadership, with the presence to influence senior stakeholders, align complex cross-functional workstreams, and translate performance signals into sharper creative and campaign decisions. This individual will be expected to operate with a high degree of ownership, proactively identify risks and opportunities, and help scale Blackstone’s advertising capability through strong agency management, disciplined execution, and a clear point of view on how to build campaigns that drive awareness, favorability, and consideration globally.
Responsibilities
Expected annual base salary range:
$170,000 - $275,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Responsibilities
- Own Blackstone’s global advertising strategy across priority audiences, regions, and channels, ensuring alignment to enterprise brand objectives, business priorities, and audience insight
- Serve as the senior day-to-day lead for agencies of record and production partners in the U.S., Japan, and other key markets, working across time zones and guiding campaign creative development from insight to idea to production and ensuring creative excellence, speed, and consistency
- Shape mid- and lower-funnel creative activation, defining how assets are modularized, adapted, and deployed across a modern distribution ecosystem using contemporary tools and AI-enabled workflows where appropriate.
- Establish a modular creative operating model built for AI-enabled production and audience-level personalization, ensuring campaign creative strategy is grounded in segmentation so we can deliver distinct, relevant messaging across customer segments at scale
- Lead agency scoping, budget management, and commercial oversight, optimizing for quality, efficiency, and impact while maintaining appropriate governance, forecasting discipline, and executive visibility
- Drive integrated campaign execution across creative, media, production, digital, content, technology, public affairs, legal, compliance, and regional marketing stakeholders, proactively managing interdependencies, milestones, risks, and decisions
- Present campaign strategy, creative concepts, status, and performance insights to senior stakeholders; synthesize learnings into clear recommendations that improve creative effectiveness and inform future investment decisions at scale
- 10 years of experience in advertising, brand management, integrated marketing, or agency leadership roles across B2B, B2C, and/or complex audience environments, with meaningful experience operating at a senior or executive level
- Fluency in emerging AI-enabled creative and content workflows, with sound judgment on how to apply them to improve efficiency, modularity, and distribution without compromising brand quality
- Identify high-impact AI use cases for operational leverage, with a proven track record of adapting creative and campaign strategy to AI-driven shifts in search, content consumption, and audience engagement
- Proven track record leading creative agencies and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver high-quality omni-channel campaigns across digital, social, video, print, and related formats
- Deep expertise in agency management, creative development, production workflows, budgeting, procurement, and operating rigor, including experience with scopes of work, MSAs, onboarding processes, and vendor governance
- Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, to build consensus, navigate complex governance environments, and present effectively to senior leadership
- Strong strategic and analytical fluency, including connecting audience insight, campaign performance, and brand objectives to creative direction and optimization decisions
- Experience working globally and comfort working across time zones in integrated environments with internal and external partners; familiarity with asset management and financial advisor audiences is a plus
