Role Description

This full-time, on-site Accounts Receivable Coordinator position is based in Worcester, MA. The coordinator will manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including processing and reconciling invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely collections. Responsibilities also include creating financial reports, tracking payments, resolving discrepancies, and supporting the finance team in meeting deadlines while adhering to district policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounts receivable management, invoice processing, and payment tracking
• Strong analytical skills to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies
• Experience with financial reporting and maintaining accurate records
• Proficiency with accounting software and general office software, including MS Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of school district financial policies and compliance standards is a plus
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role or relevant finance environment is beneficial
