Job Description:
Blackstone Valley Community Action Program (BVCAP) is looking for a full-time, temporary Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Site Coordinator. The Site Coordinator will oversee operations and volunteers at BVCAP’s Headquarters located at 32 Goff Avenue in Pawtucket under the supervision of the Executive Director.
Job Responsibilities:
· Work with Executive Director to implement the VITA program.
· Attend tax preparation training and day-long site coordinator training.
· Oversee the tax preparation site at 32 Goff Avenue in Pawtucket.
§ Site operations include:
· Working with Executive Director to ensure adequate volunteer coverage (including greeter/screeners/coaches, quality reviewers and tax preparers).
· Ensuring site is equipped with appropriate supplies and equipment.
· Oversight of site setup and take down and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
· Tracking and compiling data for grant and program reporting requirements.
· Oversight of e-file transmission of all e-filed returns; handle and manage e-file rejections.
§ Ensuring equipment and data is secure and taxpayer privacy is maintained.
§ Recruit and manage volunteers.
§ Ensuring quality review is conducted of all returns and assist volunteers with questions/concerns.
§ Ensuring a high-quality customer service experience.
· Work with Executive Director to plan and implement volunteer recognition event.
· Attend meetings as requested by the Executive Director.

· Possess strong computer skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
