Sr. IT Project Manager

Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Sr. IT Project Manager to join our Client's team.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects within the Contract to Report squad of the DigitalONE Program.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key cross-functional business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals, priorities, and deliverables.
• Align with overall DigitalONE IT PMO guidelines and operating models.
• Provide guidance to development delivery team in managing dependencies and resolving blockers, communicating with business stakeholders, and driving the development team.
• Support technology teams in backlog refinement and prioritization, and translation of business requirements.
• Present new initiatives, top issues and risks, and key accomplishments with clear and concise updates for executive, business, and technical audiences.
• Develop and maintain project plans, track key milestones and business decisions, and contribute to a centralized RAID log.
• Proactively identify, monitor, and escalate risks, develop mitigation strategies, and facilitate issue resolution quickly.
• Plan and facilitate joint planning sessions, workshops, and regular status reviews to keep teams aligned.
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of IT project management experience managing complex IT projects
• Finance Transformation & Process Optimization
• Financial Systems Implementation (ERP-Oracle, P2P, O2C, R2R)
• Cross-Functional Leadership
• Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet
• Advanced communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills with ability to tailor messaging to executive, business, and technical audiences.
