Position Summary 

The Physician Advisor position requires an experienced, self-motivated, and organized individual as a field sales representative who will maintain and grow existing accounts and bring in new referral business with healthcare providers, including Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. This will be through “total office calls” which includes referral coordinators, Medical Assistants, nurses, and other staff.

Applicant must reside in territory.

Essential Functions

·       Develop new sources of patient referrals.

·       Conduct lunch and learns, breakfasts, and further the company brand and value.

·       Travel to meet potential and current customers, including 100% of your territory  

·       Educate healthcare professionals with information about products and services

·       Build strong relationships with consistent office visits, scheduling meetings and follow ups

·       Identify customers' needs and recommend products.

·       Utilize sales reports and perform regular territory analyses to best understand territory

·       Stay abreast of the sleep industry with continuing education through company training and self-motivation

·       Utilize company CRM software daily to maintain organized notes and routing

·       Attend weekly “Class of 2026” training calls (new reps)

·       Attend weekly team calls prepared with territory STATs determined by director

·       Attend all company calls

·       Utilize Tracker Report each month to tweak routing and ensure routing is strong

·       Complete at least 15 office visits a day (averaging 75 each week)

·       Complete at least 3 lunches/breakfasts each week

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

·       High school diploma or GED.

·       Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, medical office management, or related field is preferred.

·       Two years of medical sales experience.

·       Experience using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software daily is preferred.

·       Self-motivated and driven attitude with a competitive background

·       Existing relationships with PCPs, ENTs, Cardiologists, and/or other specialists

·       Excellent organizational and consultative sales skills.

·       Strong negotiation skills.

·       Proven, successful track record

·       Ability to create and implement a strong field routing plan

·       Candidates must reside in the designated market

Physical Demands/Work Environment

·       100 % field based involving frequent travel within a specific territory to meet clients face-to-face at their businesses

·       Prolonged periods of driving within the territory

·       Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
