What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Docket Specialist position at Blackstone Law, APC?
Blackstone Law, APC is a rapidly growing litigation firm focused on plaintiff's side labor and employment law. We are looking for a proactive Litigation Docekt Clerk/Legal Assistant to support our attorneys throughout all stages of litigation. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with clients and managing deadlines.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates, gather documentation, and build case timelines
- Manage and maintain the litigation calendar, including scheduling hearings, depositions, and case management conferences
- Calculate all litigation deadlines using calendaring software in accordance with the Code of Civil Procedure, local rules, and judge-specific standing orders
- Monitor court dockets for changes, tentative rulings, continuances, and minute orders
- Collaborate with team members to ensure weekly litigation deadline reports are prepared and distributed to attorneys
- Assist attorneys/legal support with general litigation support (exhibit organization, document management, deadline tracking)
- Maintain accurate digital case files, pleadings, and correspondence in the firm’s case management system
- Support the preparation, tracking, and mailing of outgoing correspondence, notices, and court documents
- Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, organizing PDFs, updating case statuses, and managing internal communications
Salary : $25 - $32
