We're a locally owned, family-run automotive repair shop looking for a dependable and customer-focused Service Writer / Parts Coordinator to be the friendly face and connecting link between our customers, technicians, and parts vendors. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and being part of a close-knit shop that values quality and integrity, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
- Greet customers and serve as the main point of contact between customers and technicians
- Write repair orders and clearly explain recommended services
- Coordinate parts ordering, pricing, and availability
- Communicate with vendors and manage parts inventory
- Schedule appointments and follow up with customers
- Ensure accurate invoicing and smooth workflow in the shop
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a service writer, parts coordinator, or in automotive service (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
- Basic automotive knowledge and willingness to learn
- Reliable, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset
