Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Production Operator to join a manufacturing team responsible for producing quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. This role operates in a team-based production environment under the guidance of the Business Unit Manager and Production Supervisor. The position involves operating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment to ensure efficiency and quality output
- Monitor assigned machinery and ensure products meet quality standards
- Complete daily production records accurately for assigned work areas
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), TQM practices, and plant-specific guidelines
- Comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards (including ISO 14001 and TS 16949 practices)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment (5S/housekeeping standards)
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support cost reduction and process improvement efforts
- Maintain reliable attendance and adherence to shift schedules
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience (preferred)
- Forklift operation experience (required)
- Experience operating and maintaining production equipment
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Basic computer skills for production reporting
- Experience with production documentation and recordkeeping
- Understanding of measurement tools and the ability to record accurate data

Physical Requirements
- Standing, bending, and stooping for extended periods
