This role performs advanced mechanical and electrical maintenance on die casting and automated manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, robotic, and PLC-controlled systemsTroubleshoot equipment using Allen Bradley PLCs (SLC 500, PLC 5, ControlLogix) and interpret electrical/hydraulic schematicsModify positions and diagnose issues on ABB robots (M94, M98, M2000, M2600, M6700)Install, align, and maintain manufacturing equipment and plant facilitiesPerform gas and electric welding and operate machine shop equipmentComplete preventive and proactive maintenance tasksDocument work using CMMS systems (e.g., eMaint, Fiix)Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentRequired Qualifications (Must Have)4 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experienceStrong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, hydraulics, robotics, and weldingProven ability to troubleshoot die casting machine cellsAbility to read and interpret PLC logic, electrical, and hydraulic schematicsTechnical or vocational training (certificates or some college coursework)Preferred ExperienceAutomotive manufacturing environmentDriveline / drivetrain manufacturing systemsCompensation & BenefitsHourly pay up to $37.00/hr (based on skills and experience)Sign-on bonus (1-year promissory note applies)Opportunity for direct hire with long-term stabilityIdeal candidates demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, deep PLC knowledge, and experience maintaining automated automotive manufacturing equipment.
