As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will be a vital part of our commitment to exceptional customer service and patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists and certified technicians in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently under direct supervision.
- Support medication inventory by restocking shelves, rotating stock, and checking for expired products.
- Receive and input prescription information into pharmacy systems with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Greeting customers with professionalism and warmth, answering inquiries, and guiding them through pharmacy procedures and helping them understand the prescription process.
- Prepare prescription labels, packaging, and related materials in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Help maintain a clean and organized pharmacy workspace by sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and storage areas.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, record-keeping, data entry, and updating patient profiles.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to gain knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and safety protocols.
- Uphold strict standards of privacy, accuracy, and professionalism in every aspect of work.
- Support the overall pharmacy team with additional duties as needed, contributing to a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- A strong desire to learn and grow within a pharmacy setting, with a genuine interest in healthcare and patient well-being.

- Must be 18 years or older and eligible for registration as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee in accordance with state regulations and have the ability to complete a Pharmacy Technician Training program using online modules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service, healthcare, or retail setting.
- Familiarity with pharmacy terminology, medication names, and basic dosage forms.
- An understanding of HIPAA, pharmacy safety practices, or prior exposure to pharmacy workflows (even in a volunteer or academic setting).
This is a full-time position with a starting pay rate of $14.00/per hour. The anticipated work schedule will consist of working a combination of opening (8a -4p & 10a-6p), closing (12p – 8p) and rotating weekend shifts (EOW).
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
