Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers
- Negotiate competitive freight rates while ensuring profitability
- Track and manage loads from pickup through delivery
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues quickly
- Maintain accurate records in company systems
Qualifications
- Experience in freight brokerage or logistics is a plus (but not required — we will train the right person)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure
- Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new systems
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
