Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action as needed.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of property and equipment to identify potential security risks.
- Provide first aid or CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, providing detailed reports on incidents or breaches.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations effectively.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or fraud attempts and reporting findings accordingly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, or military service is advantageous.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is essential.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to undergo background checks as part of the hiring process.
