The Role

A customer-facing quality engineering role responsible for driving data-driven quality metrics, ensuring compliance with AS9100 QMS requirements, and serving as the primary quality point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution in a defense/aerospace manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Evaluate and incorporate customer flow-down requirements into internal manufacturing processes
• Establish and monitor KPIs; implement mitigation actions for negative trends
• Generate First Article Inspection Reports per AS-9102 requirements
• Facilitate MRB and FRB functions and publish periodic customer quality status reports
• Support proposal and contract review functions
• Drive preventive and corrective actions for non-compliances
  
  

What We Need

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Business, or related field
• Experience within an AS9100 Quality Management System organization
• Drawing interpretation and GD&T principles knowledge
• Strong root cause analysis skills and auditing experience a plus
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
