The Process Engineer is responsible for setting up and managing material and manufacturing data for new or reactivated products in SAP. The position ensures all material masters, bills of materials, routings, tooling, and documentation are accurate and ready for production. The role also supports capacity planning, first production runs, and continuous coordination between manufacturing, sales, and engineering.

- Set up and maintain Material Masters in SAP for new and reactivated products, including coatings, grades, certifications, and source material groups.
- Create, validate, and verify Bills of Materials (BoMs), routing steps, and tooling (PRTs), ensuring all required CNC and manufacturing programs are linked.
- Perform and document technical calculations such as powder weight, sintered volume, and labeling/lasering requirements to support production accuracy.
- Manage and verify finish, blank, and die drawings, and establish manufacturing templates, priorities, and due dates.
- Confirm all production prerequisites are in place (BoMs, routers, control plans, programs, and die PRTs) before manufacturing begins.
- Support capacity planning by analyzing equipment capability, linking RCCP to growth opportunities, and proposing production flow paths to leadership.
- Lead and support First Production Runs, identifying gaps, validating SAP master data, and signing off on first-time-through production acceptance.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across SAP transactions, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Apply strong technical knowledge of materials, tooling, and manufacturing processes to ensure production readiness.
- 3 years of experience in process engineering, SAP Material Master Setup, and product launch.
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Experience with SAP Material Master and routing setup
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Coating, CNC Machining, Sintering, Pressing)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with powder metallurgy and tooling processes
- Understanding of certification requirements and quality control plans
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
