BlackRock Resources is seeking candidates for a Mechanical Engineering role with our client in Canonsburg, PA. This position provides electrical and mechanical engineering support for the commercialization, application, and customization of products.

Job Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) / Testing (DFT) / Assembly (DFA) and Full Turnkey solutions.
- Support the engineering team tasked with the commercialization and launch of designed products.
- Perform engineering design tasks.
- Create technical documentation such as drawings, design instructions, purchasing specifications, O&M Manuals, installation instructions, work instructions, and product catalogs.
- Conduct required testing, verify product performance, system integration, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Partner with Production, Quality, and Purchasing staff to assure that products are manufacturable.
- Support the automation of design tasks.
- Provide guidance to drafters to support project goals.
- Review and check the work of others, including drafters and engineers.
- Provide jobsite support.
- Collaborate with certification laboratories such as VDE, as well as various international agencies. Provide laboratory testing support.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the engineering field.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required up to 10%.
