Key Responsibilities
- Prepare process and/or finished product samples for analysis.
- Perform analytical testing using instrumental and wet chemistry procedures.
- Record results accurately using computerized data systems.
- Complete training on one analytical aisle to advance to the Laboratory Technician I position.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies to prevent on-the-job injuries.
- Conduct at least one Laboratory Safety audit per month and complete a minimum of three safety engagements monthly.
- Demonstrate proficiency in math skills necessary for lab testing calculations.
- Utilize computer skills effectively for various tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by quality department management.
- High school level math skills required; computer skills preferred.
- Good attendance and punctuality are highly valued.
- Completion of a college science lab is preferred, but not required. Relevant work experience is considered.
- Understanding of laboratory environments and familiarity with cGMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements is beneficial.
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, and IC is a plus.
