What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial manufacturing and automated packaging equipment.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, motor controls, electrical circuits, and solid-state equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and mechanical drawings.
- Repair and maintain pumps, motors, conveyors, and other production equipment.
- Perform welding, soldering, and general mechanical repairs as needed.
- Support facility systems, including compressed air, steam, hot water, and refrigeration.
- Identify replacement parts and materials needed for equipment repairs.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment while following food safety and GMP standards.
- Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience maintaining and repairing automated packaging machinery.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and motor controls.
- Ability to safely troubleshoot low- and high-voltage electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Welding and general fabrication skills.
- Understanding of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing safety practices.
- Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude assessment with a minimum score of 60%.
