Key Responsibilities
- Work a standard 40-hour work week, with opportunities for overtime to boost your earnings.
- Install and modify electrical systems in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
- Plan installations to optimize material use, facilitate future maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability.
- Interpret and execute diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications with precision.
- Apply journeyman-level skills in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair related equipment, including air conditioning and refrigeration systems, when necessary.
- Complete tasks according to schedules and project requirements, maintaining high standards of attendance and performance.
- Keep the Electrical Shop and main facility organized and clean, promoting a safe work environment.
- Travel to job sites as needed, showcasing your expertise and adaptability.
- Demonstrate safe work habits and proper equipment care, following all safety policies, including OSHA standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and educational programs to enhance your skills and career growth.
- High School Diploma, Vocational/Technical Training, or equivalent educational background.
- 2–10 years of commercial electrical experience, showcasing your expertise and dedication.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand and move for 8 hours per day, and work in confined spaces.
- Proficiency in working safely with both high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
