Yard Hostler Position — Palmdale CA
Company: Red Rock Transportation / Blackrock Logistics Inc. Role: Yard Hostler (must have recent yard hostler experience)
Quick Highlights
- Location: Palmdale, California
- Start availability: 12‑hour shifts, 3–4 days per week
- Pay: Class C $22/hr
- Class A $24/hr (bi‑weekly pay)
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 6 months full‑time yard hostler experience within the past 2 years (OTR or local driving experience does not qualify)
- Age: Must be at least 23 years old
- License: Valid Class A or Class C driver’s license
- Availability: Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and commit to a 3–4 day work week
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate yard hostler equipment
- Move 48‑ft and 53‑ft reefer trailers within the yard with precision
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Schedule Options
- Thursday to Saturday plus every other Wednesday
- Shift window: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
