Position Overview
We are looking for professional, reliable unarmed security officers for event security assignments in the Los Angeles area. This is a high-visibility, guest-facing role. You will be the first impression of the venue. Show up sharp, stay alert, and represent Blackout Security.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, professional presence throughout the event
- Check in guests, verify credentials, and manage access control at entry points
- Monitor crowd flow and identify potential safety concerns before they escalate
- Conduct foot patrols of the venue interior and perimeter
- Respond calmly and decisively to incidents and coordinate with the lead officer on site
- Complete accurate, detailed post orders and incident reports when required
- Communicate clearly with event staff and client representatives
Requirements
- Valid California BSIS Guard Card (required, no exceptions)
- Clean professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (full shift)
- Punctual, dependable, and coachable
- Prior security experience is a plus but not required
