Job Summary
We are seeking a CNC Mill Machinist - Entry Level/Shop Assistant (Entry Level) to join our team. As a CNC Mill Machinist - Entry Level/Shop Assistant (Entry Level), you will be responsible for various needs around the factory, including:
- material receiving (forklift proficiency required)
- saw operation
- foam pack operation
- warehouse picking and packing; and
- other functions as needed
You will also be responsible for and/or be trained to do the following machinist functions:
- loading and unloading parts
- maintaining your machine (air, oil, coolant) and keeping it clean in between jobs; and
- managing your chip bins.
Qualifications
- Current or previous forklift certification
- Experience in a machining/factory environment
- Strong communicator
- Able to follow direction
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- *Due to the nature of our work, you must have a clean criminal record (no felonies and you must disclose the nature of any prior misdemeanors) and submit to pre-employment and random drug screening
Note: This would be an excellent position for a recent graduate of a machining trade school program.
Salary : $20 - $25
