As a Coffee Production Operator, you will oversee key aspects of our production line, focusing on bagging, grinding, flavoring, and ensuring strict quality control standards. Your role will be critical in delivering the premium coffee experience Blackout Coffee Co. is known for.
Responsibilities:
- Grinding & Flavoring: Operate grinding equipment to ensure consistent coffee grind size and properly apply flavoring to meet product specifications.
- Bagging & Packaging: Run and maintain equipment for coffee bagging and sealing, ensuring accurate weight and proper labeling for all products.
- Quality Control: Inspect products at every stage of the process to ensure they meet company standards for freshness, flavor, and packaging integrity.
- Machine Operation & Maintenance: Perform routine checks, cleaning, and maintenance on all production equipment.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and food production standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Strong mathematical skills using percentages and fractions while working with recipes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our Manufacturing best practices
- Ability to comfortably handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced changing environment requiring self-motivation and focused attention to detail
- Ability to follow our policies and procedures as well as our operating principles
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to constantly lift, bend, stretch, stand during entire shift and reach overhead with repetitive motions
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $15/hr
- Schedule:
- 8 hour shifts
- Monday-Friday (Saturdays when needed)
- 8:00am-4:30pm

NOTE: Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test, as applicable for the role. Training will be provided to the appropriate individual. Flexibility to perform other duties as needed based on company needs.
