About the Firm
Our client, a leading Elite Boutique investment banking advisory firm headquartered in New York, is seeking a high-performing Investment Banking Analyst to join its Technology coverage team.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Execution: Support the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A, IPOs, and capital raise transactions across the technology space.
Client Interaction: Assist in preparing for client meetings and presentations, contributing to materials and supporting ongoing relationship management.
Valuation & Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models (DCF, LBO, trading comps, precedent transactions) to support transaction analysis.
Due Diligence: Support due diligence processes, including data room management, industry research, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Marketing & Pitching: Prepare pitch books, presentations, and marketing materials for business development initiatives.
Team Support: Work closely with Associates and senior bankers, contributing to deal execution and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in investment banking or a related field (e.g., consulting, accounting, or corporate finance), with exposure to the technology sector preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution.
Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Sector Knowledge: Interest in the technology landscape (particularly software, SaaS, or fintech) and awareness of key trends and drivers.
Work Ethic & Attitude: Strong attention to detail, high level of initiative, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Licensing: Progress toward or willingness to obtain Series 79 and 63.
